Siu Man has practiced in Hong Kong and London, working on a range of civic projects including university libraries, archives and theatres. She has extensive experience in designing residential projects including student accommodation, high-end penthouses and affordable housings allowing her to reflect on what good housing means. She enjoys works using design to maximise the reach of the brief for the benefit of those who use the buildings.
Outside of her architectural practice, she collaborates with artists on projects and research with themes of performance and urban imagination, and her work has been exhibited at the HK Architecture/Urbanism Biennale.
Siu Man thinks good architecture is accessible with clarity and sensitivity to both urban and social context of site.
