Will Millward joined Gibson Thornley Architects in 2022, drawn by the practice’s reputation for design and innovation, and a working ethos that aligns with his own. Since then he has worked across a range of typologies, including residential, commercial and education projects. Tom has a strong interest in the reuse of existing buildings, and how economic, environmental and social challenges might be addressed to make retrofitted buildings more resilient and sustainable.
Will completed his architectural education at Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Liverpool, and previously worked at jmarchitects across a variety of building sectors.
For Will, good architecture is simple, playful and innovates both in terms of its sustainability and visual quality.
